    The earliest memory I have of reading is my mother reading Bible stories to my sisters and I.

    Around the 4th and 5th grade I joined my local library and became obsessed with Animorphs. I would sit for hours after school reading in the lounge area!

    During the 9th grade I started reading the Twilight series, which jump started my love for novels.

    Since the 10th grade Harry Potter has been my solace through a lot of difficult times. I read the books and get lost in the story, forgetting about my own problems.

    I built a new relationship with God in high school, in doing so I started reading a lot of books in relation to prayer. This book in particular guided me through tough decisions.

    In 2017, a plus-sized model, someone I looked up to, released her first book. Reading her story gave me so much inspiration and confidence to be myself, and to love myself.
