Little Fur Family
I used to sleep with this book every night because the cover was furry like a stuffed animal. -
As a child...
As a child I was told that I was going to have to learn to read "like everyone else". I feel like I had the conception that everyone had to learn/know how to read. -
Frog and Toad are Friends

Favorite childhood book- Charlotte's Web
As a child I gravitated towards towards books with pretty cover pages. Charlotte's Web caught my eye, and ever since has remained a favorite book of mine. My 5-year old self looked up to Fern and was so jealous of her pet pig.... Still sorta am. -
Start of independent reading
I started to read independently around first or second grade. I remember reading the cartoon Casper the Friendly ghost all alone probably in first grade. -
Are You My Mother?
-
Captain Underpants
I remeber reading this series with my brother when we were younger. -
Junie B. Jones

Favorite preteen book- Holes
Still probably one of the best books I've ever read, hands down. I honestly do not even know how many times I read it. I first read it when I was close to 9 years old. I love the double plot and the style of writing. Now I really want to re-read this over break! -
Lettres D'Amour de 0 a 10
I attended the Lycee Francais de Chicago and read this book. I loved it so much that me and my friend sent a letter to the author, and she responded with a visit to Chicago! -
Book read because others were reading it- Twilight
Every single girl my age at my school was obsessed with the Twilight series. I gave in at a point and began to read the first book. I only got half-way... -
Old Man and the Sea
Read this book at my old school and really loved it. It was short, but it's a timeless piece of literature. -
Animal Farm

Go Ask Alice
This is not your typical book. This is the diary found of a young girl after commiting suicide. Books never really make me cry but this one got to me... It was just so personal and vivid, I almost felt like I was there right next to Alice. Did not put down that book until I read it all in a day. -
Most difficult read- Shakespeare
I am for sure a Shakespeare lover, but that does not mean it is an easy read. I took Shakespeare as my english class last semester and read many of his amazing plays. I struggled at points to fully understand the language, which made it a tough read. -
I would like to read more of....
I would like to read more in general, honestly. Although in specific I would like to read more fiction. -
The Outsiders
I secretly will always and forever love the book the Outsiders. I've read it so many times, and at so many different points of my life. Secretly very obsessed. -
1996
My mom used to read this to me all the time and I loved the shiny cover.
