    I was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 2008. I have a sister that is three years older than me. My dad was born and raised in Ireland and my mom was born and raised here.

    My parents tell me that I had a very silly sense of humor and that I liked making people laugh. I guess I was really easily amused myself.

    I started going to preschool at Farnsworth Elementary school. I didn't like it at first but then I started to make friends and started to like it a lot.

    This is my preschool picture. I was playing with a toy truck on some steps the night before the picture day and I slipped and hit my eye on the edge of the step. The school told my mom they would take another picture, but she said no because she likes how it turned out.

    My dad is a carpenter and I always like to help him and learn new things. I helped him when he was putting up a new fence in our backyard.

    I was really excited to start going to kindergarten. I was happy that I was going to the same school as my sister which is Garvy Elementary school. I think going to preschool helped me be more comfortable with kindergarten.

    I tried out different sports when I was little. I played hockey, soccer, and basketball. At the time, my sister played softball and sometimes I played catch with her.

    I couldn't wait to lose my first tooth. My sister was already getting a lot of money from the tooth fairy and I wanted to start putting my teeth under my pillow so I could get money.

    I was really big into the world of wrestling when I was younger. One of my favorite wrestlers was John Cena and I was able to meet him for my 7th birthday.

    Meeting Seamus
    Seamus is another professional wrestler that I was a big fan of. I used to dress up like him and I was able to meet him when he came to Chicago. So of course, I dressed up like him and everyone loved it.

    I think this was the first time I wore a suit for a school picture day. I felt like an adult wearing this suit and I remember wanting to act like a proper gentleman.

    After trying out hockey, soccer, and basketball, I tried playing baseball and I immediately liked it. I remember watching baseball games on TV to learn more about it and watching videos on YouTube. I got the game ball after the first game I played in.

    I received the Sportsmanship award from my coaches the year that I started to play baseball. They said I earned it because I was a team player and I always had a good attitude.

    I really liked the trip to New York with my sister, my mom, and my grandma. We saw and did a lot of things there. It was special to me because it was the last vacation that I took with my grandma before she died.

    For the second year in a row, I earned the Sportsmanship award for my baseball team. The coaches said I earned it because of my good attitude and the way I always cheered on my teammates.

    When Covid shut everything down, I had to finish sixth grade remotely and do my entire seventh grade year remotely. I liked it at first since I was able to stay home, but then I started to miss my friends and teachers.
  • Eighth Grade Graduation

    My eighth grade graduation was a memorable moment. My teachers nominated me to say the welcome speech at the ceremony. I was really nervous, so instead of saying "please be seated", I said, "please be dismissed". Everyone laughed and I felt embarrassed, but it was fine.
  • High School Baseball Team

    One of the reasons I was looking forward to starting high school was because I could try out for the baseball team. I tried out and there were a lot of other kids there trying out too, and I made the team. I will be playing varsity this year so I'm really excited about that.
  • Family Vacation

    We went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a family vacation. I liked seeing the mountains and all of the different things to do there. My cousins from England happened to be there too at the same time, so we were able to get together with them.

    I've been playing baseball for almost seven years. I've been playing travel baseball for the last six years and I plan to keep playing through my college years and beyond. I just might make it to MLB if I continue working hard.
