Biosocial Development-First steps
I had two older siblings close in age and I wanted to keep up with them. -
Birth
I was born at 8:22 am on March 5th 1992. -
Biosocial Development-First Words
My father was very happy to hear my first words "Dada" when I was about 14 months. -
Psychosocal Development
I would take care of my dolls like actual babies and cared for them. I would pretend to breast feed them and wake them up and burp them. My mom said I was very mothering to my dolls. -
Cognitive Development
I could name the letters on my wooden blocks which surprised everyone. -
Psychosocial Development
I loved entertaining an audience and singing for anyone who would listen. -
Biosocial Development
I began potty training and I learned very quickly and easily. -
Psychosocial Development-Started school
I adjusted well to school and got along with other kids in my class. -
Biosocial Development-Started Softball
I was a very competitive player and sports came easy to me. Practice helped my physical growth. -
Intellectual Growth-Started driving
My dad taught me how to drive and would let me use his car. He taught me to be a very safe and smart driver. -
(Cognitive) Chose major of Occupational Therapy
After attending college and figuring out I like working with people and helping them, I decided I wanted to become an Occupational Therapist. -
Cognitive Development-Started College
I was excited to start college and see new people. -
Psychosocial Development
I met my boyfriend Steve and we have been together for over 2 years. We have a very healthy and happy relationship. -
Psychosocial Devopment
I was one of the only ones out of my friends who had a car to drive so I would drive my friends around -
(Cognitive) Graduate college
I will graduate from Wayne State University with a masters degree in Occupational Therapy. -
(Psychosocial) Start career
I will find a fulltime job as an Occupational Therapist in a clinic or a school. -
(Psychosocial) Buy a house
My boyfriend and I will finance a house in the area -
(Psychosocial) Get married
I will get married in the spring and have a big wedding. -
(Psychosocial) Take a vacation
I would like to travel to a few places after I get married and before I have kids. -
(Biosocial) Stay in shape
I will continue to go to the gym and stay active to keep in good shape. -
(Psychosocial) Start a family
I will have enjoyed time being married and want to start a family at the age of 28. -
(Biosocial) Second pregnancy
I want at least two children no more than 2 or 3 years apart. -
(Cognitive) Motherhood
I will want to know everything about being a good mom and raising my family right. -
(Psychosocial) Top of career
I will own my own Occupational Therapy clinic. -
(Psychosocial) Buy the house of my dreams
My husband and I will be at the peak of our careers and financially stable enough to buy our dream home. -
(Psychosocial) Midlife crisis
I will be 42 years old and I will reflect on my life and possibly make changes for the better but nothing serious. -
Death
I hope to have had a long and happy life when I die.
