The Interchangable Parts
Invented by Eli Whitney, They were replacement pieces of exact specific ations; the parts were exactly alike. Production became much faster; repairs became easier and cheeper; and the invention decreased the need for skilled labor. -
The Steamboats
Invented by Rober Fulton, the boats were powered by steam enginess rather than waterwheels. Transportation became easier and faster; cities were developed, such as St. Luis; and there was more Westward expantion. -
The Erie Canal
Invented by John Calhoun, the water way became the water way that liked New Your and Bufalo. -
The Steel Plow
Invented by John Deere, it was a light weight plow with a sturdy steel blade designed for hevier soil. Plowing farms became easier and much faster; it increased farming productions and expansion of farms into the midwest U.S. -
The Telegraph
Invented by Samuel Morse, the machine was used to communicate by tapping out codes that could be translated in to messages. The telegraph improved communication by making it faster, and connected regions of the country together. -
The Transcontinental Railroad
Invented by theCentral Pacific Rail Road and Union Pacific Railroad. It was a railroad that conected the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. The railroad improved transportation of goods and people as the moved west.
