Slave Trade
Hight of the Slave Trade an estimated 28 milllion slaves were forcibly removed from there homeland and sold into slavery. Muslim traders shipped and estameted 17 million slaves to the coast of the Indian ocean. 12 million were shipped trans atlantic to the colonies of the Americas. 99% of whome died in service, 10-20% died on the transport ships. At least 4 million died in slave wars and Trans Saharan forced marches. -

The Resitance many slaves jumed off the side of the ships or fled from officials and ran into the hills. A breaking of the spirit was to occur but many resistaed and managed to escape. Many tribes waged gurilla warfare against the slave hunters. -

The diaspora was the forced and brutal dispersal of Africans into forighn lands. Thsi sbrought African cultue and traditions to many places around the world. They enriched many civilizations cutlrualy with their art and textiles. They brought many folk tales and myths with them.
