    The Aboriginal people came to Canada from Siberia and other parts of Asia, becase they were following the animals. They founded many national groups each with it's own distinct qualities all across Canada.

    The French came to Port Royal, Quebec City, and Monteal. The French came to Canada came to Canada for precious stones and metals, instead they found fish and furs. The French were greatly assisted by the following Native groups. Montagnais, Mi'kmaq, the Maliseet, and the Huron

    This immigration surge included mostly English and other European immigrants. They settled in the Atlantic provinces, they came to Canada because of the unemployment and food shortages. This surge multiplied Canada's population by five.

    All the good land in the states was taken and it had gotten cheaper to travel here. The surge didn't really begin utill 1896. Most Immigrants were non-French and non-English.

    Canada was an attractive place to those faced with hardships. There was almost no immigration during the great Depression and World War 2. Canada mostly accept non-English people from Europe.

    The people from the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa and new areas of Asia came to Canada because this was the first time these groups were allowed into Canada. Canada mostly accepted highly trained people these people settled all across Canada.
