Maricopa Colleges (other than Mesa) are given permission to allow a limited number of faculty access to the Canvas production area FOR COURSE DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES ONLY -- no course delivery until Governing Board approval is given (estimated August 2012). -
Canvas pilot at MCC
25-30 Mesa Community College faculty pilot Canvas in their late-start courses. -
Mesa uses Canvas for Summer classes
Following the Spring 2012 late-start pilot, Canvas will be used in MCC's summer classes. -
MCC presents to Governing Board; uses Canvas for all Fall classes
Mesa results of initial Canvas implementation over Spring/Summer 2012 presented to the Maricopa Governing Board for consideration of approval of Canvas LMS for use at other colleges in the District. Full-volume test of Canvas on all courses at Maricopa's largest college. -

Early adopters at sister colleges, pending approval
