    Today I got my first job in The States. I am employed at the Triangle shirt factory in New York City, New York. I work on the 5 floor. We make shirts to help people. There are a lot of people working in this factory. We are all women.

    Triangle Factory FireToday there was a huge fire. The factory I worked in was burned to the ground. Someone put a cigar in the waste basket and it caught the whole thing on fire. I was on the 5 floor so i could escape easily. Not many were that fortunate. It was heartbreaking to see the girls jumping from the windows of that old factory. Of this I am sure, I will never take life for granted.

    I married on this day. My husbnd is an Italian Farmer. His name is Joshua Williams. He is one year older than me and moved to the States about 3 years ago. We met at a drug store. He was the clerk and I was buying some bread. From the second I glanced into his eyes I knew we were meant to be.
