In June of 2010 I recieved my Bachelor or Arts degree in Education and Speech. I recived this diaploma from Saint Joseph's College, and the job search begins. -

Academic and Career Goals

Master's Program Begins
I started the Literacy and Cognition Master's Program at Saint Joseph's College. Once I graduate from here I will become a certified reading specialist who can teach anyone birth- grade 12. -
My First Teaching Job
On this day, I was offered a permanent substitute position in the Hauppauge School District, and I couldn't be happier. -
Leave Replacement
I hope to be offered a leave replacement position as an inclusion teacher. This teacher is taking a maternity leave, and I am in the running for her job. -
Permanent Teaching Position
After the leave replacement is over, I hope to be offered a full time teaching position. I would gladly accept any position that comes my way, but I would really love to teach in a self-contained classroom. -
Master's Graduation
I will graduate from Saint Joseph's College Master's program. I will be a certified reading specialist. I hope to be the Valedictorian of the Master's program for this year. -
Tenure
I would apply for tenure, and hopefully recieve it. Hopefully I am teaching in a self-contained classroom. -
Speech Pathology
I will begin the Master's program at Hofstra University where I will become a speech pathologist. -
School is Over
I have graduated from Hofstra University with my Master's degree in Speech Pathology. So, I now have two Master's degrees, one in Literacy and Cognition and one in Speech Pathology.
