French & Indian war
First Britain and France fought over the Ohio River Valley. They fought with the Native Americans they were on both sides so they could get some land for whoever one the French & Indian war. The British end up winning but the Native Americans are mad so Pontiac and other Indian leaders united together to fight British forts but Pontiac refused to sign a peace treaty -

Proclamation of
The king issued a proclamation starting that the colonist couldn't move west of the Appalachians. This was to protect the land for the Native Americans for hunting, tribes, beaver pelts -

Taxation without Repesentation
The First act was the Sugar Act it added tax to sugar and other goods coming into the colonies from other places. The next act was the Stamp Act was lees that a year after the Sugar act the Stamp Act places tax on Newspapers, almanacs, pamphlets, all kind of illegal stuff they also made a tea pot that says 'No Stamp Act'. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre happened on March,5,1770 a fight broke out with the colonist and the British soldiers. A large crowd gathered near several British soldiers, some colonist n the group shouted insults at the soldiers, they threw rocks, snowballs, as the colonist came closer the soldiers fired their weapons and 3 colonist died and two died later. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea party was not a good thing for at least the colonist. The colonist threw out tea that was brought into the colonies they threw out today which would be over 1 million dollars into day's money they were discussed as Mohawk Indians but they knew it was them. The tea company trapped the colonist so they couldn't get in or out they made all of the colonist pay it back until it was all payed off. -
1st Continental Congress
The first meeting took place in September 1774 at Philadelphia's Carpenters hall. There were 56 delegates some wanted to break away from Britain and some wanted to find a way to get along with Britain. The Congress agreed to developed a statement of rights. -
Lexington & Concord
Gage heard about the minuteman storing guns so the British sent 700 soldiers to find the guns but Paul Revere went to ride his horse and tell John Hancock and Samuel Adams so they stopped it before it happened, a little war broke out and they were killings. -
2nd Continental Congress
The people asked Washington to lead the team and he did but he only had a little of experience from the French & Indian war, Washington accepted the commander & chief of the continental army the very next day. -
Battle Of Bunker Hill
There was a battle that officially started the war off many people died but the British knew that it was going to be a hard fought battle , they had Earth Works which would help them get cover and have height advantage and would save them from muskets shooting at them -

The Declaration is a document that states the chargers against the king and what he did wrong, the signers of the Declaration,date, preamble,the statements of rights. -

Valley Forge was the continental army's headquarters. At Valley Forge Von Stuebans job was to drill the continental army so it was faster. -
Battle Of York Town
The Battle of York Town was a hard battle for the Americans. But the Americans wanted it more so they fought harder and they came out on top and the British pulled out the surrendered flag because the Americans cut off their supply lines and they didn't have nothing else to shoot with. -
Treaty Of Paris
The Treaty of pairs officially ended the war. The Americans said they wanted the British soldiers off their land and they wanted to be called American not British subjects and the king said be nice to the loyalist who supported me and that was the Treaty of Paris.
