    Women's 1st achieve 5 bumps Blades. This is the second Eights in a row at which W1 has won Blades, going up 9 places in 2 years. The college is ranked 1st across the whole University amongst women's crews with +6 net bumps
  • M2 and M3 win Blades at Summer Eights

    The college comes 4th overall in the University with +14 bumps, and 3rd overall amongst men's crews with +11 bumps.

    The college is ranked 1st in the University amongst men's crews with +13 bumps.
  • W1 and M2 win Blades at Summer Eights

    Both the Women's 1st and Men's 2nd win Blades. This is the second event in a row in which M2 has won Blades following Torpids 1992. This is the last time that any Women's crew won Blades, and there is a photo of this crew in the Bar!

    Men's 1st's get 5 bump blades. College achieves +11 net bumps (3rd overall in the University)
  • OUBC boathouse destroyed by fire

    See Guardian article Fire destroys the Oxford University boathouse (pictured) along with 30 rowing boats The boathouse was used to store racing boats belonging to University, Wolfson, St Peter's and Somerville colleges. Historic photographs and other memorabilia belonging to the college rowing clubs were destroyed.

    Both the Women's 2nd VIII and Men's 3rd VIII win Blades at Summer Eights. The Club achieves +8 net bumps placing it 4th overall.

    The club moves all its equipment into the new University College Boathouse, on the site of the former OUBC Boathouse which was destroyed by fire in 1999

    Two brand new boats are named in a ceremony in Hannington Quad of St. Peter's College The Elizabeth and John Cox, named after two of the Clubs greatest supporters - which had just been christened by the Men's 1st VIII with 3 bumps in Summer Eights The Jonny Fraser, named in memory of our former 2nd VIII captain who tragically died aged 21 in 2005

    M1 and M2 win Blades at Torpids 2009
    The Men's 1st VIII achieves 5 bump blades and the 2nd VIII achieves 6 bump blades. Together the Club gets net +15 bumps over the week placing it 3rd overall in the University, and 1st overall for Men's crews.
