Labeled as behind in reading & math skills. I was put in the "slow" group. (Actual words of my 1st grade teacher.) -

This was a tough time for me academically and socially. I don't really remember reading too much. I did live off of Rick Dees weekly top 40 though! -

My Dad started taking me to the library and said, " You can pick anything you want!" I picked out, Stephen King (Carrie!), Judy Blume and Trixie Beldon books. -
14 Years Old
I found peace when I read...I would read anything that I thought looked interesting at the library. -
16 Years Old
I was working a lot so I don't remember reading anything interesting at this time. -

Discovered Authorian Legend books when I took a literature class at PSU. I worked at the Pattee Music library and discovered Tristan & Isolde...it was made into an opera by Wagner. I watched and read it too many times to count! -
30 Years Old
Had 3 boys and discovered children's books! Thomas the Tank Engine was the favorite series to read about! -
40's
I have discovered psychological thrillers, preschool curriculum books and crafting books are my favorites to read now.
