Susan B. Anthony leaded the women suffragg. They founded the NWSA (National Women Suffrage Act) and got others to vote in support of prohibtion. -

It made a point to the supreme court that if they deny male citizens the right to vote then they would lose congression . Anthony and many other women tried to vote 150 times before. Then the supreme court ruled in 1875 that they were indeed citizens. -

They used painstaking organization, kept close ties with the local,sate, and national worker, cautious lobbying, and gracious, ladylike behavior. They pressured the federal gov to pass the suffrage admendment.
