While Ada Lovelace's work didn't grand her much recognition during her lifetime, her work brought her to light with the discovery of her notes. They were published and she recieved many honors for her contributions to the field of computer programming. -
CERN launches the first website
The very first website was launched in 1991 by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The website showcased the project it's self and had information on the World Wide Web. The original web server is still being housed at CERN and was called the NeXT. -
Eric Bina
