    When i was 6 years old my mom and dad went over to america to work when they got over there they were going to send back for us. Until something bad happened we were all waiting i remeaber asking my older brother Theodor why mom and dad didn't come for us yet 4 days pasted. Then it happened we got a letter that said the ship was rocking back and forwoth and they fell off. They both froze to death.

    I just turned 16 Theodor was 19 and Anna was 13 Theodor took care of Anna and I since are parents died 10 years ago I still have bad nightmares. It was hard we all had to go to school and Theodor got layed off of his job he mugged some one to get money for us he got caught and sent to jail. Now its my job to get him out.

    I heard of the steel industry, I know its hard and vrey dangers but i'm going over to America to work. My older brother Theodor got in troble with the law he mugged someone for money for me and my younger sister Anna. After are mom and dad died Theodor had to take care of us.

    I just lefed my home town and went on to the ship it was my first time going over to New York to work on the skyscrapper. When i get a enought money i'm sending back for my sister. I got on the ship when we where going over we got in a very bad storm the boat started rocking back and froth i felt sick. I was new to this I was scared I hide under deck. 6 weeks later we past the storm and the ship got to New York i went to work on the skyscappers.

  • The slip

    It wasmy first week of building it was not easy I had to walk across the ibeam to get to the other side i heard a lot of stories of people falling to there dum. I was walking arcoss the one day to get to work when I slipped I fell of the side but I grabed on the Ibeam holding on tight trying not to let go or die i swag back and froth the next thing i know some one came and told me to give them my hand I did they saved me thats how I made a friend.

  • the send back for Anna

    I sent back to Anna i been gona over a month working making good pay. I had enought money from my job i got 25 dollars a hour. I been working night and day today is my big day going to send a ship back for anna so she can come here i can get her a job that is safe. the ship went and it came back in 6 weeks i waited until i saw a girl run up and give me a hug it's Anna said i was scared I told her it's ok i felt the same way.
