The fax machine was invent by Alexander Bain it was used to totelephonic transmit a scan printed material both words and pictures normally to a phone number connected to a printer or other output device. -
Landline Phone
The landline phone was created by Alexander Graham Bell and Captain John Taylor.It started being noticed after it was used in 1876 by the United States Patent and Trade Mark Offices. -
Public Pay Phones
The first public pay phone was installed by inventor William Gray at a bank in Hartford Connecticut. but as we got into the late 1990's pay phones started to become useless because there was such thing as a mobile phone.Yes you still see pay phones often but they are only in main places like airport , on the go highway stops , community centers and select malls. -
Floppy Disk
The floppy disk was created by Alan Shugart at IBM.The floppy disk use to be 8 inch's but as it got smaller is received the name diskette and later on disk. -
VCR
The first VCR was created by the company JVC but as many years passed DVD player were released and the VCR became useless. -
Movie Rentals
In 1985 the first Blockbuster video rental store opened.Back then there was only very small no known stores that rented movie when block buster first opened they had over 8000 copies of different movies and television shows.But later in 2010 Blockbuster went out of business as not many people continued to rent movies.Along with Red box they went out of business in Canada but still have location around USA. -
Receiving Bills In The Mail
Back in the 1990 it was still commen to receive bills in the mail but in are generation now you ethier just get charged or youll receive an email. -
DVD
the DVD was invent in 1997 and by 2000 it was taking over every shelf.The actual laser disc technology was invented by David Paul and James Russell in 1958.but later was pushed off shelf by blue ray DVD's and different devices. -
News Paper
we still receive the new paper at this point in time but most well recycle it or burn it in a fire.There is only very few who still read the news paper
