    Microsoft released Microsoft Office on October 1,1990. It included Microsoft Word 1.1, Excel 2.0 and PowerPoint 2.0. It has been a staple in personal and professional use for many of us that use computers on a daily basis. This program has taken over typewriters, calculators, and projectors and many other things.

    Sony Playstation
    Sony Playstation Video Game Console came out in September 1995 in America but was released in Japan in December 1994. It was invented by Ken Kutaragi who was a Sony executive. You could play many video games such as Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot, Grand Theft Auto, Twisted Metal and many more.
  • Tamagotchis Virtual Pets

    Tamagotchis Virtual Pets
    Tamagotchis were virtual pet siumation games that could be hung on your keychains. You would need to feed them, play with them, let them sleep, drink water and even use the bathroom or they would die! Aki Maita and Akihiro Yokoi invented these keychain pets. They were first released in Japan on November 1996 and in May 1997 in the United States.

    DVDs and Players were available in 1997 in the USA. Sony Corp and Phillips Electron worked with Toshiba Corp and Time Warner Inc. to create DVDs in 1995. The first DVD was released 1996 in Japan.
  • iMacs

    iMacs
    iMacs made their debut. This desktop computer was released on August 15, 1998. They had these AMAZING translucent casings with 5 different colors to choose from. They were designed by Jonathan Ive and the name came from Ken Segall whom they pitched the idea to Steve Jobs. They all worked for Apple.
