Referendums
Referendums are held in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania to approve the constitution. It is endorsed by all but New South Wales. (Endorsed means either to declare ones public approval or support of or sign a (chequer or Bill) of exchange on the back to make it payable to someone other than stated payee or to respect responsibility for paying it. -
January
In January premieres operate a special and secret meeting and agree to several changes to the constitution. Between April and July referendums are held in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania at which a majority vote 'yes' to the bill. In September, Queensland voters endorsed the constitution. -
The start of another decade
In March a delegation travels to London to present the constitution to the British parliament. On 5 of July the British parliament passes the commonwealth of Australia constitution act. On 9 of July the Queen of Victoria signs the commonwealth of Australia constitution act. On 31 July Western Australia operates a referendum at which an overwhelming majority of voters approve the constitution. (A delegation is either a body of delegates or deputation or the action or process of devolution. -

What some of my tricky words mean
Constitution: The composition of something.
Deputation: A group of people appointed to undertake, a mission or take part in a formal process on behalf of a larger group.
Convention: An agreement between states covering particular matters, especially one less formal than than treaty.
Majority: The great number.
Conference: A formal meeting: typically one that takes place over several days.
Premiere: Give the first peformence of.
Economic: Justified in terms of profitability. -
