Because LaSalle wanted to impress the king he named Louisiana after the king. The king gave him boats to go make a colony there. LaSalle missed Louisiana by 400 miles . People became sick and some even died. Everyone became very mad and someone killed LaSalle. -

Farther Hidalgo wanted to help poor people so he taught them how to plant crops. The Spanish wanted the Mexicans to buy their olives and grapes so they destroyed them. -
