My Education (incorrect day and month)
I went to one of London's best schools, St. Anthony's in Threadneedle Street, but at the same time I served as a page at the Archbishop Morton household and he predicted that I would prove to be a “marvellous man.” His interest sent me to the University of Oxford where I spend about two years. At about 1494 my father brought me back to London to study the common law. During this time, I wrote a lot of comedies and studied Greek and Latin literature. -

Then I became a member of the parliment. (Wrong day and month)
I was torn between a monastic calling and a life of civil service. While I was studying at Lincoln's Inn, I was determined to become a monk. Living at a monastery nearby and taking part of the monastic life, the prayer, fasting, and penance habits stayed with me for the rest of my life. My desire to become a monk was finally overcome by the thought that I needed to serve my country in politics. So I entered the parliament. -
