    Muhammad sent a Muslim envoy to the ruler of the region of Bahrain. The envoy requested the ruler to join Islam. Eventually, the ruler said "yes". He also invited other regions and empires including Persia and Byzantium.

    A group of families called Al Khalifa migrated from Kuwait to Zubarah of Qatar. The Al Khalifa family gathered Arab tribes as their allies to take control of Bahrain from the Persians.

    Al Thani
    The Al Thani family from the Tamim tribe went on a journey from Central Arabia to the Qatar peninsula. In 1825, the House of Thani was founded by Sheikh Mohhamed bin Thani.
