Canadians fought to take aGerman stronghold on Vimy Ridge in Northern France. For the first time in Canadian history, Canada's troops fought together as one single unit and engaged their creeping barrage tactic to successfully capture and hold Vimy Ride as a key vantage point. This was one of Canada's most successful capture in Canadian war history. -
The league of Natrion was created
The League of Natons was an intergovernmental organisation founded as a result of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the First World War. It was the first international organisation whose principal mission was to maintain world peace (So no more wars break loose). At its greatest extent from 28 September 1934 to 23 February 1935, it had 58 members. i chose to place this on my timeline beacasue i belive this is an important moment in History because it can maintain world peace everywhere. -
Jobless Men in Canada
After World War 1 and 2, it was difficult for men to find jobs as before they were soldiers who were recieving money for their service. Women back home took mostly all the jobs and when men came back, it was hard to find a position. Men couldm't make any money which then lead to no being able to support themselves or thier family. -
