My Dad's Passing
Term(s): Trajectory, and Shaping. When my dad passed away I was Five and it was life-changing, as I grew older I motivated to work even harder and do good for my dad, to this day he is still my motivation. -
A Bad Year

This year my family went through a lot of hardship, because of this I have grown up much faster than others my age, I experienced a lot of hardship and that caused me to transition into someone much wiser beyond their years. -
Started High School

When I started high school I was nervous about finally reaching high school age at first and growing up but, I have been slowly maturing over the course of my high school years, and high school years are when some of the most eventful things happen in your life. -
Started My First Part Time Job

October of 2017 I started my first-ever part-time job at McDonalds as a crew member. I was excited to have a job and finally make my own money. Two years later I still work there and I am now a crew trainer. -
Attended The Central Ontario Leadership Seminar
Term(s): Social role, shaping, and cohort.
During the end of May 2018, I went to the Central Ontario Leadership Seminar( COLS). At COLS kids only in tenth grade could attend, and the seminar consists of bringing like-minded kids together to build their leadership skills. -
Future Event: Graduate High School

In the next coming year, I plan to graduate from Orchard Park Secondary School hopefully with an SHSM certificate as well as a diploma. -
Future Event: Work And Travel

I plan to work a full-time job for half of the year and save money then travel for the other half before heading off to college the following year. I really want to travel and experience some things before I go off to college, also I really would enjoy a year off of school before I commit to it again, I've been in school since I was five years old and will be 18 when I graduate, that's a long time of schoolings so I feel that I will be more prosperous in college if I wait a year. -
Future Event: Start Taking A Child And Youth Working Program

I plan to attend mohawk college and take a 3 year Child and Youth Working course. I would like to get my degree in child and youth working, then potentially further my schooling by an apprenticeship or more school. -
Have A Job In The Child And Youth Working Field

Starting high I want to become a journalist but over the course of my high school career, I changed my mind and started thinking about becoming a child and youth worker. I feel like working with youth and children will be a fulfilling job for me and I feel that I can help touch many child's lives.
