The Bay of Pigs invasion was a failed military attempt at invading Cuba. It was an act of the C.I.A. President Dwight D. Eisenhower donated money to the C.I.A to plan Castro's (a communist government leader) overthrow and build the military. -

Russians built a wall around Berlin to keep prisoners of WWII from escaping. Europe was in ruins and everyone was struggling to survive, so President John F. Going on to this present day in 2015, the War in Afghanistan was brought upon by George W. Bush's reaction to terrorism attacks. The war has lead to the killing of terrorist leader Osama bin Laden and the establishment of a new Afghan government and army. -
The Beginning of the Iraq War
Beginning in 2003 and ending in 2011, U.S troops were sent to invade Iraq and destroy the government under Saddam Hussein. Saddam Hussein was in control of nearly everything in Iraq, including oil and other industries. After executing Hussein, the U.S. troops were withdrawn from Iraq.
