Daniel "Day" Wing was born. His parents fed him, cared for him, and loved him and his two brothers. As a result, Day grew up trusting his parents and believing that the world was good.
In Erikson's first stage, trust versus mistrust,
the crisis is between having loving and caring relationships and developing trust in the world or not being loved and cared for that leads to mistrusting the world and others. -
Event #2
Day is 15 years old and is now a wanted criminal. He rebels against the government and law, while giving back and helping those in need. He knows who he is as a person and still values being putting others before himself.
In Erikson's fifth stage, identity versus identity confusion,
the crisis is developing awareness of oneself and their place in life and not knowing who they are and what they are doing in life. -
Event #3
Day is 27 years old and has been in love and in a relationship with June Iparis for a few years. Day proposes and June accepts wanting to share the rest of their lives together and be vulnerable with one another.
In Erikson's fifth stage, intimacy versus isolation,
the crisis is between having a committed, intimate relationship and blend identities or being unwilling to having an intimate relationship and being isolated.
