    When I was small my mother and siblings (I'm the youngest) would always read the alphabet and numbers to me. That was the start of my learning to read and write the alphabet and numbers.

    My mother always read to my siblings and I If you give a mouse a cookie. She told us how this reminded her of all of us. I fell so in love with the story. Present day I'm still in love with the story.

    When I was in 8th grade I read The Metamorphism by Kafka. I really loved the theme in this story. This is one of my favorite books I've read. I actually apply this story to my life in present day. (Well not the part of turning into a bug)

    Animal Farm by George Orwell is such a great book to read. I remember reading this book as well because it had nothing to do with the actual animal farm. After reading the book a second time I realized it was more about politics.

However, there is a movie of the story that recently just came out. I recommend anyone reading this story. I believe this is what's going on present day.

    Reading this book I've never felt so connected and valued! The author is a Nigerian college student and I can personally connect. Reading this book has really shaped my outlook on others and even myself.

    I read this book as it was recommended from a coworker and its changed a lot for me since reading the book. Book outlines very interesting present day things that should be talked about. I would consider the book to have some very controversial and challenging topics. I personally enjoyed reading the story.
