Detective Mariah
As a young girl and even now as an adult I've always enjoyed reading mystery books. Encyclopedia Brown was my favorite book series to read while in the fourth grade. -
The Transformation of Reality
When I was in 8th grade I read The Metamorphism by Kafka. I really loved the theme in this story. This is one of my favorite books I've read. I actually apply this story to my life in present day. (Well not the part of turning into a bug) -
Animal Politics
Animal Farm by George Orwell is such a great book to read. I remember reading this book as well because it had nothing to do with the actual animal farm. After reading the book a second time I realized it was more about politics. -
Fahrenheit 451 Prophecy
Reading this book has always stuck with me. In the 10th grade I read this book and still think of it to this day. I wish there was a sequel to the story. However, there is a movie of the story that recently just came out. I recommend anyone reading this story. I believe this is what's going on present day. -
Big Brother is Watching
My other absolute favorite book I remember so well was 1984 by George Orwell. The overall theme in this story is min blowing. Funny to say I'm a huge Big Brother fanatic influenced by reading this book and understanding the theme. -

Reading this book I've never felt so connected and valued! The author is a Nigerian college student and I can personally connect. Reading this book has really shaped my outlook on others and even myself. -
The New America
I read this book as it was recommended from a coworker and its changed a lot for me since reading the book. Book outlines very interesting present day things that should be talked about. I would consider the book to have some very controversial and challenging topics. I personally enjoyed reading the story. -
Becoming Mariah
This year I read this book and its been the best book I've ever read. The inspiration in this book is indescribable. I'm going to read the book again because it was so good.
