Alexander the Great dies in Babylon
On the 10th or 11th of June 323 BC, Alexander the Great died in the Palace of Nebuchadnezzar II, in Babylon, at the age of 32. Dtails differ slightly - Plurarch's account is that roughly 14 days before his death, Alexander entertained admiral Nearchus, and spent the night and the next day drinking Medius of Larissa. -
