The Da Vinci was designed to make surgeries safer for patients and easier for the surgeon. Honda debuts new humanoid robot ASIMO
In Tokyo Nov. 20 2000 Honda announced the developement of a new humaniod robot to the world. AISMO stands for Advanced Step in Innovated Mobility. AIBO the robotic dog
In 2003, Sony announced that it would be continuing the procuct of the AIBO dog. The AIBO is a dog companion that runs on AIBOware. The Life AIBOware allows the robot to be rasied from a puppy, to a full adult while going through stages with the owner. The Hug
In 2004 researchers in Pittsburg designed a robotic pillow to provide physical touch. This was invented mainly for Grandparents to send a "hug" to their Grandchildren. The Slugbot
The slug bit is a robot used in gardens to get rid of slugs. The slug bot is an attempt to build the worlds first autonomous robot, which means that it will be the only robot to not need any assistantce from humans.
