    Stanley Hall studied the child's psychology. By doing this he was able to help shift the focus of education from a teacher-focused education to a student-focused education. This lead to a change in curriculum and how the lessons were taught.
  • The Great Depression

    Franklin D. Roosevelt saw a problem with our youth during the 1930's and as a way to fix the problem was to create more jobs. By creating more jobs me brought more money into the educational field. There was more money then to hire teachers, buy school supplies, and they were able to build bigger school.

    Brown vs Board of Education
    The ruling of the Brown vs the board of education stated that that all children deserve the right to an equal education. The law said there should be no more segregation. This would allow students to attend mix instead of segregated ones and get an equal education.
