  • Estates General Called

    Estates General Called
    There are were 3 estates in France during this time. The first was clergy the 2 estate was the nobility and the 3 was the rest of the people. On May 5, 1789, Louis the XVI got the 3 Estates to have more representation. This did not last long because of the Parlement Of Pairs invoked an old rule saying that every estate received one vote.
  • National Assembly Formed

    National Assembly Formed
    This lasted from June 17, 1789, to July 9, 1789, this was a group of people formed by the 3 estates it was called the revolutionary assembly unit the legislative assembly replaced it on September 30, 1791.
  • Tennis Court Oath

    Tennis Court Oath
    So the members of the 3 estates started to call them selfs the national assembly. They also took an oath called the Tennis court Oath. Which says not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstance required, do this until the constitution of the kingdom was established. This was a pivoting role in the French revolution.
  • The Storming of the Bastille

    This happened in pairs France on the afternoon of July 14, 1790. The Bastille was a prison in the centre of pairs. This prison contained only 7 prisoners at the time of its storming. It was seen as an important piece of the monetary. When this happened it was a flashing point of the French revolution.

    The Frist republic was formed on September 22, 1792. This lasted until the declaration of the first empire in 1804. This period was characterized By the fall of the monarchy and the Region of Terror and the establishment of the National Convention.
  • Reign of Terror Begins

    Reign of Terror Begins
    This event started because the 3 estates could not get a say. so if there were people that sounded like they were with the government they had their heads cut off. this claimed an estimated 18,500-40.000 lives.
  • King Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette Beheaded

    King Louis XVI & Marie Antoinette Beheaded
    This took place at the revolution square on June 21, 1793. The National Convention had convinced the king that Louis XVI to be killed.
  • Reign of Terror Ends!

    The reign of terror ended because people stared to feel like they were going to get a say.
