Thousands of women from Paris marched 12 miles from Paris to Versailles. They wanted food and for king Louis XVI to sign the D.R.M. The result of the bread march was that king Louis XVI signed the D.R.M. and the king and his family and all the food were brought back to Paris.(notes) -
