Just Coffee
Just Coffee Just Coffee began in Madison after a group worked with Zapatista farmers in Mexico who were unjustly being paid very little for their work growing coffee. The group had very little coffee knowledge at its beginning but has since perfected their coffee roasting techniques and has grown to be popular in Madison, Portland, San Francisco, and many other US cities. -

Community Gardens CAC's Community Gardens program provides land access to residents throughout Madison, allowing people who otherwise would not have access to land to garden their own produce. -

Slow Food UW Slow Food UW Chapter began in 2007 and is now one of the most active Slow Food chapters associated with a university. It connects students with fresh and locally sourced food and varioius unique recipes from all over the world. -
REAP Food Group
REAP REAP Food Group began in Madison as a nonprofit organization that works on various food projects in Madison, such as connecting local restaurant owners with local farmers or providing locally grown food to Madison schools. -
Greenhouse Learning Community
Greehouse Learning Community Greenhouse Learning Community connects UW students with the sustainable food movement by providing workshops and activities related to growing and making food, along with access to a greenhouse in the residence hall and a plot of land in Eagle Heights. -
Growing Power Madison
Growing Power Madison Growing Power Madison is connected with Badger Rock Middle School to teach young students about sustainable agriculture and also works with the Madison Boys and Girls Club to further educate groups of young students about the importance of local and sustainable food.
