Aristotle Theory
320 BC. The Aristotelian theory of gravity was a theory that stated that all things move towards their natural place. For some objects, Aristotle claimed the natural place to be the center of the earth, and they fall towards it. The speed of this motion was thought to be proportional to the mass of the object. -
Newton's Theory
- Theory that stated that gravity was all around the universe, not just Earth. By the use of mathematics, Newton did not only explain the movements of objects and planets but he also explained how gravity worked, thus his laws of gravity.
-
Cavendish Theory
- Cavendish found the accurate value for the gravitational constant with the use of Newton’s math.

Einstein Theory
Einstein's Theory was that gravity is not a force but it's a curve in space-time.
