Lincoln issued the Emancipation proclamation on the south and freed all of the slavea. It accually didn't free many slaves because they couldn't enforce it. -

90,000 Union troops and 75,000 clashed on the rocky fields. The Union won with Pickets charge. When Confederate solidiers charged and were all shot. -

William Tecumseh Sherman declared war on the south and any person, country or anything that helped the south. -
End of the War
Grant and Lee met at Appomattox Court House to determine the Confederate's surrender.
