End of the French and Indain War
The Treaty of Paris was the end of the french and Indian war. The french in the colonies were forced to give up there land a leave. -
Britian Raises Taxes
The british crown put taxes on these materials to help pay for the war. Sugar Act(1764) put a tax on all sugar, Stamp Act(1765) put a tax on all paper products, Declaratory act(1766) was a repeal of the Stamp Act because of all the boycotts,Townshend Acts(1767) colonies had to pay salaries of Governers and Judges, Tea Act(1773) put a tax on all things tea, Intolerable Acts(1774) stripped massachusetts of self goverment. -
Quatering Act
The British furhter angered the colonists in 1765 by passing the Quatering Act. The act forced the colonists to provide housing for the British troops stationed in North America. -
Townshend Acts
The Townshend Act of 1767 authorized parliament to issue taxes on in demand imports such as glass, lead, paint, paper and tea. British Soldiers had to be brought into Boston to prevent an uprising. -

Ending of the American Revolution
The American Revolution originally ended in October 1781 in Yorktown. After George Washington forced General CornWallis to surrender after the siege there. But the Revolutionary war didnt officially end until the Treaty of Paris signed on September 3rd 1783
