Exposition 1 Background
John Wilkes Booth chooses how, and where he will kill Lincoln. He chooses to kill him with a single shot gun because he knew that his first shot at Lincoln would be his last shot at him. The guards will come running when they hear shots. He chooses to kill Lincoln while he was watching the play "Our American Cousin" at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. -
Exposition 2 Setting
They are in Washington DC for President Lincoln's innoguration -

The Garret Family- The family that turned Booth in to the police.

Chasing Lincoln's Killer

Conflict
Booth shoots Lincoln in the head and jumps off the balcony. He then ran out of the theater and rode away on a horse. When he jumped off of the balcony, he injured he own leg. -
Rising Action 1
President Lincoln dies after hours of frantic surgery. -
Rising Action 2
Booth arrives with one of he comrades to Dr Samual Mudd's house to get his leg treated. -
Rising Action 3
After Booth and his friend were rested and Booth's leg was set, Dr Mudd asked them to leave his home in case the army did house checks or a neighbor reported suspision people. -
Rising Action 5
Booth and his comrade set up a camp in a pine thicket for shelter. -
Rising Action 6
Booth asks for newspapers and learns that his efforts had been rewarded - Lincoln was dead!!! -
Rising Action 4
Dr Mudd realizes that the person he has been treating murdered President Lincoln. He had met Booth months before, to plan the kidnapping of Lincoln. When the plan had failed, Dr Mudd didn't see Booth again until he came in need of help. -
Rising Action 7
Booth meets with a Southern sympathiser who offers to give them a boat to cross a river and get into Virginia where they would be safe from the searchers. -
Climax
Booth and his comrade start down the river in the middle of the night. They will reach Virginia by morning. Hours later they realize that they have been paddling in the wrong direction. -
Falling Action 1
Booth decides to stay in Maryland for a while because his leg feels worse. He and his comrade go looking for a safe home to rest in for the night. -
Falling Action 2
Booth finds shelter at the Garret's home. The Garrets have no idea who Booth is and what he had done. -
Falling Action 3
After seeing horse riders, Booth becomes agitated and the Garrets become suspicious. -
Falling Action 4
The Garrets relize who Booth is and decide to tell the authoritys where he is. -
Resoulution 1
When Booth realizes he was betrayed, he runs into a barn to hide from the police. -
Resoulution 2
The police surround the barn and tell Booth and his comrade to surrendeer. Booth refuses togive up because he wants to die fighting. Booth's comrade decides to surrender. The police tell Booth that they will set the barn on fire if he doesn't come out. -
Resoulution 3
The general looked into the barn and saw Booth taking out a gun. he quickly makes a decision... and shoots Booth. Then he rushes in and drags him out of the barn. -
Resoulution 4
The place where Booth was shot was fatal. The shot paralize him from the neck down. He asked someone to lift his hands so he could see them, his last words were "useless, useless........" He was reffering to how his hands could no longer do anything to help him escape.
