Oraekei was kicked out of the sale and keeped like that as reserve fir Ngati Whatua. As the city of Aluckland was develped, however Natati Whatua sold off the land. -

The Native land court said that their remaining land is and will be could not be sold. It was placed under the complete contol of 13 trustees. -
