The first step towards my goal is graduating high school. This is important because I need to graduate in order to be accepted into a college. -
Attend NC State University
This is my dream school, and where I will study for 4 years. -
Volunteer at Elementary Schools
By volunteering at local schools, I will become more accustomed to working in a classroom and being with children. This experience will aide me in my studies as well. -
Graduate College
I will graduate from NC State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. -
Apply for Jobs
By applying at many different schools, I will increase my chances of being accepted somewhere. My only stipulation is that I want to stay in North Carolina. -
Start My Career
By August of 2022, I will be a new teacher at a school in North Carolina. -
My SMART Goal
I will become an elementary school teacher by the year 2023 by obtaining my bachelor's degree in elementary education from NC State University. This career is the one for me because I value teaching and education and love to help children; there is no where else I'd prefer to work.
