America and Britain celebrate victory because the Nazis surrendered. The war ended and prisoners were returned to Britain. -

The US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. The US wanted to end the war with Japan. Killed 140,000 people and Japan surrendered. -

The celebration of defeating Japan. Celebrated for the surrender of Japan. WWII is finally over.
