Japanese Invasion Of China
The Jaanese turned a small incident into a full scale war. Chinese were unable to stop the resistance of the Japanese.
It happened cause the Japanese claimed that they were fired on by Chinese troops at the Marco Polo Bridge near Beijing. Using this as an excuse, the Japanese launched a full-scale invasion of China using the conquered Manchuria as a launching base for their troops. The effects were the war against China had lead to 4 million Chinese casualties with 60 million made homeless. -

Germany's Invasion Of Poland
When Germany invaded Poland, World War II began. Germany crossed into Poland at 4:45 a.m. on September 1, 1939. Poland declared war on Germany two days later. It happened because felt that by invading and conquering Poland, Germany would acquire "living space" for the German people. He wanted to rid Poland of those people he felt were racially inadequate and wanted to enslave the Polish people. After Nazi Germany occupied the remainder of Poland when it invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941.
