Benjamin Mee proposed an idea to his boss for a new article and his boss turned it down. His boss explained that everything is going digital and asked Benjamin, "let me lay you off and give you the benefits." to which Benjamin replied, "No. That is just more sympathy. I quit.". -
The death of Katherine Mee was mentioned.
Katherine Mee was Benjamin Mees late wife. Her death was brought to attention when Dylan, Benjamins son, was talking about his grades. Dylan states, "Dad, nobody's gonna give an F to a kid whose mom died 6 months ago.". Benjamin can be seen reacting to what Dylan said in the picture provided. -
Dylan gets caught stealing from his school.
Following quitting his job, Benjamin gets a call from Dylan's school asking him to come down and talk. Upon arriving, Benjamin is told that Dylan stole money from the cafeteria and will be expelled. -

Benjamin and Rosie go out searching for a new place to call home with a brand new realtor. -
The Mees were shown the Rosemoor property.
In search of the perfect house with "rolling hills", the Mees were introduced to the Rosemoor property and instantly loved it. After discovering it was a zoo, Benjamin was skeptical until he saw Rosie playing with the peacocks. -
The Mees begin their new adventure of owning a zoo!
Benjamin purchased the zoo, animals and all, and the Mees began their adventure. -

Walter Harris visits the Rosemoor Zoo for a "pop by inspection"
Walter Harris unexpectedly visits the Rosemoor for an inspection and leaves Benjamin with a long list of necessary repairs. -
The Rosemoor staff works hard to prepare the zoo for opening day.
Following Walters visit, the staff had plenty of changes to make. They began working day and night through rain and shine in order ot open the Rosemoor. -
Spar the tiger dies
One of the zoos favorite animals, Spar, passes away due to old age. -
Benjamin runs out of money.
Through countless hours of hard work and many financial burdens, Benjamin runs out of funds in his bank. -
Benjamins brother informs him that his wife Katherine left him an envelope full of money for him.
Although Benjamins wife had passed away, she still managed to show her love for him by leaving him an envelope full of money. This money was just enough for Benjamin to carryout on his plan to open the Rosemoor. -
The Rosemoor opens!
After all of the adventures Benjamin had experienced in his life, nothing could have prepared him for this one. Benjamin, his family, and his staff all faced many challenges trying to open the Rosemoor, but they continued to overcome those challenges and they succesfully opened the zoo.
