The American Revolution was a war fought with Great Britain and the 13 colonies.The 13 colonies thought they did not have representation in parliment.So they refused to pay their taxes,and the war broke out. -

The cause of the Mexican American war was the 1845 Texas Annexation to the U.S which Mexico considered to be thiers, even after the Texas Revolution.Also, the Americans wanted to expand to the Pacific Coast. -

Confederate forces attacked a U.S millatary instillation at Fort Sumter in South Carolina.The southern states had seceeded from the U.S, because they had different points of veiw from the northern states. They disagreed over slavery, and taxes. -

The 22nd amendment was added to the U.S Constitution becaus it set a term limit for the U.S president.I t was the final result of reccomendation of the Hoover commission that was established by President Harry S. Trueman in 1947. -
