Pizzaro Conquers the Incans
Pizzaro and his 180 men and 20 horses take on a force of 30,000 men and defeat them by capturing their leader Atahualpa. He fills two rooms with gold and one with silver to secure his release, but is killed anyways. This gives the Spaniards an opening to take control of all of South America west of the Line of Demarcation -
Founding of Jamsetown
This was the first British colony in North America, it was founded by Puritans looking for religious freedom and for a fresh start. After some difficulties securing a foothold in this new land, the Britons eventually overcome their troubles and set up a thriving colony. -
Founding of Plymouth
Plymouth was also founded by those looking for religious freedom, these people were called the Pilgrims. They sailed from Britian and established the Plymouth Colony. They encountered problems in the begining, but they overcame these and set their colony in what is now Massachutsets. -
End of the French and Indian War
This war fought between the French, British, and their respective allies, was not only fought in America, but was fought around the globe. In Europe, Austria and France fought England and The Netherlands, and in Asia the British and Dutch fought the French for control.
