The English mathematician Charles Babbage is the designer of the very first automatic digital computer engine. Though Babbage failed to build one during the time. The machine was completed many years later, to be exact 153 years later in 2003. He's seen as "the father of the computer" since he came with the idea. Babbage is seen as a very important man. -
Ada Lovelace
The mathematician Ada Lovelace is said to be the first computer programmer. She was working with Charles Babbage. Babbage made the plan for the invention while Lovelace translated an article about one of Babbage's inventions, adding her own comments. Lovelace introduced many new computing concepts which makes her considered the first computer programmer. Being a woman during this time and coming this far in the worlds of science, Lovelace is seen as an inspiring role model. -
Alan Turing
Turing was the creator of artificial intelligence. This was the start of the modern technology and the computer age. He invented the "One Turing Machine" which could calculate square roots or solve Soduku puzzels etc. It was specifically meant for the commuting of real numbers. Turing is seen as "the father of modern computering". His inventions helped winning World War II. He came with the idea of AI, though his idea hasn't been achieved yet. Where still working on AI in the modern world. -
Douglas Engelbart
Douglas is the inventor of the first computer mouse. He is also the one to show the system of the computer mouse, keyboard and computer screen. Engelbart created the computer mouse two decades before the actual personal computer was created. Before the keyboard they used commands. Keyboards and the computer mouse are seen as essential products for computer usage in today's worlds. -
Bill Gates
Gates is one of the founders of Microsoft. Microsoft is one of the foundations for the whole internet software. Though he made his first software program in high school. Microsoft became the start of the internet, people became interested in the internet because of Microsoft. Microsoft is also considered the worlds largest software and what drove modern use of technology. -
Steve Wozniak
Steve Wozniak is a computer scientist (inventor and programmer) and a co-founder of the Apple computer. Wozniak and Steve Jobs together invented the Apple I computer. Jobs and Wozniak where one of the first people to release personal computers on the market. He began developing the next model (Apple II) personally. This model is one that established the company as an important role in micro-computing. -
Tim Berners-Lee
The British computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee is classified as the inventor of the World Wide Web. He wrote the software for the first Web server. It was supposed to be used to provide researchers with information about results, techniques and practices without having to send e-mails all the time. Researchers would share the information online. This began the computer age. -
Elon Musk
Elon Musk is known to be one of the founders of Tesla motors and SpaceX. He's also the CEO of Tesla. Tesla aimed to make affordable electric cars. Musk helped with the launching of Falcon 9 rocket into space. This rocket being the first time a private company sent a spacecraft to the International Space Station. Tesla's goal is to make a more sustainable future with the usage of electrical car motors.
