Saratoga
The battles of Saratoga that took place on both dates Septemer 19, and October 7, 1777. The British was the successful in the first battle but Americans gained victory in the second. The battles took place 18 days apart in the same area 9 miles south of Saratoga New York. -
Valley Forge
Decemeber 19, 1777 to June 18, 1778 the American Continental army spent a brutal winter at Valley forge and faced starvation, disease, and malnutrition. About 2,500 Americans died by the end of February. -
Yorktown
The Seige of Yorktown took place on Septemeber 28, 1781. This battle ended British land operations in North America, and Americans gained victory. The battle ended on October 19, 1781. -
Treaty of Paris
The treaty of Paris was signed by King George III and Great Britain and representatives of the US. This ended the American revolutionary war on September 3, 1783.
