For more than ten years a great plague spread around Roman Lands.The plague that killed a quatre to a third of Rome's Population was called the Antonine Plague and although there had been lots of disease outbreaks in Rome the Antonie Plague killed more people than any other disease. -

Visgoths and Alaric tribes invade Rome
The Visgoths and Alaric tribes invade Rome because they were asking for money and land and it was not given to them, so they marched up to the Roman gates. A traitor from the inside of Rome opened the gates for the tribes and they came in to Rome and plundered it. -

The barbarians set up puppet emperors which do what ever they say so the barabarins have more control, leading too there kingdom to grow in size. They also only concentrate on South Gaul and Italy. -

In 455AD Rome was once again plundered by another Babarian horde. This time it was the vandals. -

The Western empire collapses (476AD)
The Western empire of Rome no longer exists, instead all of the Western Roman Provices are taken over by Barbarian kingdoms. The Eastern empire did not fall with the western. No one really knows what happened to it, but there are many theroies like; it slowly faded away because law wasn't being enforced, ect. Also in this time the last empore (Romulus) was desposited of by a german solider. -

Diocletian splitting up the Roman empire 285AD
Diocletian became Emporer in 285AD and found out it was growing too quickly with roads and population, so he split it in half to western and Eastern halves. He kept the western side for himself and the other half the Eastern side to his trusted ally Maximian. Even though they were supposed to have equal power, Diocletian had more power. and often ordered Maximian around, causing many civil wars. -
Battle of Adrianople 378AD
This battle was between the Goths and Valens. It didnt take long till the Goths had killed more than 2/3 of Valens army and they killed Valens himself so that makes the Goths Victorious. The reason this battle took place was because the Goths wanted to take over the Romans Land. -
Vandal passage to North Africa (429-435AD)
This was when the Gaiseric tribe was incharge and them them and the Vandals ocupy cambridge, by moving through North Africa and Spain invading all the countries on the way to battle for cambridge, they won the battle. Then they cut off the supply of grain in Rome and then bcause the Romans were weakk they began the pirate rading.
