    Both the French and the British wanted to expand there countries. this led to the french and indian war. Before this war began, there was a war called the Seven years War. It took place across the continents of Europe and North America and involved France, England, Russia, Prussia, Spain, and a few others.

    This was one of the causes leading up to the Revoulutionary War. The British goverment passed several acts througt the years that made the colonists angery. The goverment had put tax on the imported sugar so they coul dpay off the debt faster from the French and Indian war.

    A law was passed that if a soilder needed a place to stay or he needed something, they were to provide it. The people had to let the soilders stay in the barns or Inns and they had to provide food, liquor, salt, bedding, and they were not aloud to say no.

    Patrick was against the British's Policy. He wanted to raise a militia. The rest of the jury urged cation with his thoughs. He ended the speech with the famous line, "Give me liberty, or give me death!" Following after this was the signing of the decleration on july 4, 1776.

    this was the first combat of the Revelutionary War. Paul revere got word and went to tell the militia. The militiamen fought back stroong and the British retreated due to the intense fire.
