-Became the sole issuer of bank notes.
-The bank is still being used today. -

-An agreement between Napoleon and Pope Pius VII.

-Also ended the breach caused by the church reforms. -

-Napoleon was one of three.

-Napoleon made himself emperor and his wife Josephine empress.
-The Pope agreed to attend the coronation only after Napoleon and Josephine had a church wedding.
-The Pope was supposed to crown Napoleon and Josephine, but Napoleon decided to crown Josephine and himself.
-This was supposed to show the people his power. -
Battle of Trafalgar (red)
-Was a battle fought between the British Royal Navy and the navies from France and Spain.
-Established the British Naval supremacy for more that 100 years.
-The battle was fought west of Cape Trafalgar, between Cadiz and the Strait of Gibraltar.
-A clear victory for the British. -
Continental System (red)
-The continental blockade was the foreign policy of Napoleon.
-This was placed against the United Kingdom during the Napoleonic wars.
-This blockade caused little economic damage to the UK.
-Realized they were using a new trade route. -
Abolished Holy Roman Empire (red)
-Napoleon is responsible for this because he wanted to create his own.
-He wanted to create a French-dominated Empire which was formally abolished in June 1806. -
Resistance in Spain (green)
-The part of Spain that continued to resist French occupation allied with Britain and Portugal to expels Napoleon's armies from Spain. -
Invasion of Russia (red)
-Napoleon led an army across the Neman River invading Russia.
-The Russian army refused to engage.
-Napoleon went to defeat the Russians and since they retreated it was a fail for the French. -

-Fought at Leipzig in Saxony.
-Resulting in the destruction of what was left of the French power.
-Napoleon led approximately 185,000 troops during this battle. -

-The Hundred Days war known as the war of the Seventh coalition.
-This marked the period between Napoleon's return from exile on the island of Elba -
Waterloo (red)
-The battle was fought near Waterloo in Belgium.
-Defeated by two of the armies of the Seventh coalition.
-Napoleon was defeated and exiled for the last time.
-This battle marked the end of the Napoleonic wars. -
Abdication (red)
-After the battle of Waterloo Napoleon returned to Paris in hope to find political support.
-This plan failed and they decided that Napoleon be abdicated.
