    July 4th, 1922 Billy Pilgrim was brought into the world and grew up in Ilium, New York. Billy was a funny-looking, weak child and he did pretty decent in school.

    While in college in upstate NY studying to be an Optometrist, Billy get's drafted into the army where he is sent to Luxembourg to fight the Germans in the Battle of the Bulge. He experiences his first time travel when he leans up against a tree and closes his eyes and he ends up reliving his dad's death and his own birth

    Billy ends up getting lost behind enemy lines where he meets Weary and two other scouts. Billy and Weary end up getting taken prisoner by 5 German soldiers and a police dog.

    Roland Weary ends up dying from gang green and he has a wild fantasy that Billy was the reason of his disease and death and while in the boxcar, he makes sure everyone knows that Billy was the reason he dies and Billy ends up getting blamed for his death. Paul Lazarro promises revenge.

    On his way to Montreal, Billy gets into a plane crash where he ends up being the only survivor. Billy's wife, Valencia, ends up getting killed due to carbon monoxide poisoning after a car crash after rushing to be by Billy's side.
